If the last year has taught us anything, it’s that life is better when it’s spent together. It improves mental and physical wellbeing, boosts confidence and leads to a more positive outlook in life.

That’s why we started Vivify. Our easy to use booking system makes it easy for people to find local spaces to get together, whilst also helping to provide much needed funding to schools.

Vivify is made up of a group of people who care deeply about the schools and communities they represent and are backed by long-term investors who are committed to growing the Vivify brand and improving people’s wellbeing.

    Managing Director

    18 years experience working in the leisure industry in schools, gyms and other leisure businesses.
    Starting from grass-roots, progressing to senior executive positions in a multi-site consumer-facing environment with a purpose.

    Passionate about health and wellbeing in the community.

    Obsessed with delivering a world-class experience to venues, customers and colleagues.

  • Alaine Swis

    Marketing Director

    15 years experience in driving sales across a variety of industries including gyms, hotels, property and events spaces.

    Specialise in transforming businesses through implementing a digital-first approach.

    Launched 5 new brands and 10 rebrands - including 11 new websites, 5 bespoke build booking engines, onboarding processes and apps.

    Dedicated to improving the customer journey, communicating stories and embracing technology.

  • Andy Mellor

    Finance Director

    25 years experience in multi-site, consumer-facing businesses. Grown those businesses sustainably with in-depth knowledge and experience of managing finances and cash flow.

    Passionate about customers and service, and how technology and innovation can produce a better experience for everyone and drive increased revenues and profits.

    Andy’s most recent role, before Vivify, was in the school lettings market increasing revenues for schools and becoming a lettings VAT expert.

  • Richard Millman

    Non Exec Chairman

    Over 20 years of board level experience, and early career was spent at Guiness, The Coca-Cola Company and PC World Business.

    Currently works on a portfolio of Non- Executive roles, including as the Non Exec Chairman of The Protein Works, having spent the previous ten years focussing on the area of Private Equity backed business turnarounds in the Leisure Sector, most notably as the CEO of Leisure Connection (1Life) and the turnaround and subsequent management buyout of Total Fitness Health clubs.

  • Chris Rowlands

    Business Development Manager

    20 years of experience in the leisure industry working for DW Fitness and Virgin Active, owning various fitness businesses including two time National Fitness Award winning gym Fitness4All and fitness retreats throughout Europe.

    Vast experience managing the sales and operations of community lettings programmes, having lead the openings of over 120 schools across England working with national partners to local grassroots clubs and hirer groups.

    Very passionate about health, fitness and sport - especially at a grassroots level.

    Customer Service Executive

    I've worked in the leisure industry for over 10 years across a range of customer-facing roles.

    Before joining Vivify, I was busy managing school sites so I have a breadth of knowledge when it comes to hiring out school facilities.

    I’m passionate about ensuring our hirers and schools have the best experience and I'm always ready at the end of the phone to help, no matter the question!

    18 years experience in the leisure industry working for David Lloyd and Virgin Active in various roles including Sales and Membership Manager and General Manager.

    Strong communicator, putting people at the forefront of everything and winning many awards.
    Managed and exceeded budgets whilst delivering the highest net growth over a 5 year period.

  • Élise Tanner

    Regional Operations Manager

    Élise joins Vivify with three years' School Lettings experience. Having a degree from The University of Oxford in Arabic, Élise's love of languages translates to a warm, respectful and open demeanour.

    Combined with a prior career using data to drive improvement within healthcare organisations, Élise is adept at getting to know each School to maximise their impact. Élise is an experienced operations manager, with a methodical, efficient and meticulous approach.

    Passionate about the power of community, Élise is a volunteer for local Community Action Groups.

  • Glenn Carroll

    Regional Operations Manager

    16 years experience working in multisports facilities, 4 of these years working directly with schools and Multi-Academy Trusts.

    A strong background in achieving operational and financial results leading to achieving national fitness awards, employee of the year awards and attending international seminars.

    Working within leisure has led to qualifications in personal training and nutrition, as well as hosting the American Boxing Team for the 2012 London Olympics!

    Head of People & Culture

    A decade of experience working in Operations and Sales across both Leisure and Food Retail with a passionate focus for People Development.

    Thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment with a proven record of delivering aspirational engagement, service and financial targets.

    Developed projects in Human Resources from conception to delivery with a multi-faceted aim to recognise and enhance the employee lifecycle.

    Associate CIPD Level 5. Have completed various courses including data analytics, GDPR and training. Currently studying Mental Health awareness.

    Understands the priorities of schools and how that can place specific challenges on change management or technology implementation.

    Passionate about the wellbeing of students and staff and the quality of education: determined to put schools first and help to place them at the centre of their community.
