Our Community Hosts are tremendously appreciated, and they are more than just key holders.
Of course, your primary role is to look after the school during community use, however you will also the first point of contact and guide the clients during these hours.
At a time where people have never needed it more, you will welcome the local community into the school facilities for different activities such as football, church groups, dance & drama, children’s activities, mother and baby classes and much more!
This role comprises of evening and weekend shifts.
The role duties;
To be responsible for the security & maintenance of the school.
To maintain and enhance the high quality of the school, buildings, grounds & environment.
To deliver a world class experience for the local community.
Lock & unlock the school whilst ensuring the security & safety of the site.
Help to organise & manage attendee parking on site during large events.
Ensure the site is always staffed including holidays & sickness .
Assist in the setting up of rooms for lettings & other school related events from time to time.
Undertake cleaning duties to ensure that the school’s premises are always clean & tidy.
Ensure that the Health & Safety Guidance is always adhered to.
Assist with regular risk assessments.
Manual handling is essential to the role.
Experience of working in a school environment would be advantageous but not required.
