Frequently asked questions about hiring out your school facilities
It's free to list your school with our Connect service. The school just pays a small percentage of bookings made by hirers.
For our managed services, we agree a percentage split of the hirer income that schools make, based on the service the school needs, for example whether Vivify staff are needed to manage the venue.
Our Connect service can be live within 2 weeks, with our team handling set up and the launch of your venue.
Our managed services take an average of 8 weeks to go live as the team will fully manage your facility. During this time our team will work with you to manage contracting, briefings, hiring, operations and marketing.
Our team handles all safeguarding requirements and stays fully up to date with KCSIE requirements. All our on-site hosts are DBS checked and we ensure that all bookings who require it have supplied all relevant documentation ahead of bookings being confirmed.
We offer a free safeguarding health check for lettings to all schools, including those who have not yet chosen to partner with Vivify, as we are fully committed to ensuring the highest safeguarding standards.
We have a range of hirers across our facilities. These range from our national and regional partners who run activities across multiple schools, through to local community organisations. We have a network of over 15,000 hirers, which is growing each month, across a wide range of activities.
We work with our partner schools to block out school events in the calendar in advance, so that we can ensure that facility bookings don't clash with school events.
Funds are paid via BACS to your school's account on the schedule you choose, weekly or monthly. Each payment comes with a clear, line-item statement which details any costs that have been taken into account, such as staffing.
We work with a wide range of multi-academy trusts, with trusts choosing to work with us as we can fully manage the lettings process across the portfolio of schools.
We work with centralised services as well as at an individual school level. Trust admins get a unified dashboard with multi-school reporting, role-based permissions and centralised payouts.
