The pitch features a sandy surface which, although affected by some drainage issues at the rear, offers an excellent environment for practice and skill development. Whether you're honing your football tactics or engaging in intensive drills, this facility proves to be a valuable resource for athletes and teams alike.
The pitch is equipped with six hockey goals, making it ideal for focused training sessions. Although the markings have faded significantly, the space can still accommodate practices for sports such as rounders during the summer term. Despite not being available for competitive matches, it's the perfect venue for teams looking to develop their skills and enhance their performance through dedicated training.
The floodlighting across the pitch allows for evening sessions, but please note that it illuminates only half of the area. This means you can make use of either half of an 11-a-side game or split the pitch for two 7-a-side matches, ensuring that your training continues even as daylight fades.
