Hydrotherapy Pool
The hydrotherapy pool at NCEA Dukes Academy is a specialist swimming pool maintained at 35℃, and it is one of the few hydrotherapy facilities available to hire in the North East. With a pool hoist for disabled access, a small viewing area, two changing facilities, a pool cover, and a dedicated entrance off Academy Road, it is thoughtfully equipped to welcome users of all abilities. This pool is ideally suited to hydrotherapy practitioners, aquatic physiotherapists, parent and baby swim groups, SEN swimming programmes, warm water fitness classes, and therapeutic swimming providers across Ashington and Northumberland.
